The Circle That Remembers, the Interval That Forgets
GG-Theory and the Sixteen Problems of Particle Physics and Cosmology

Abstract
Physics keeps a short list of questions its own tools cannot close: what happens when a measurement happens; where the Standard Model's two dozen unexplained numbers come from; what launched the Big Bang; what became of the information that fell into a black hole. Their median age is seventy years. This paper takes sixteen of them and follows one exact, elementary statement to all sixteen. In the six-dimensional geometry of GG-Theory, every point of ordinary space carries two further directions of opposite kind: a closed circle and an open interval. A holonomy — the record a loop keeps of what happened around it, the quantity all of gauge physics is built from — requires closed loops, and an interval has none. Everything on the circle is therefore holonomy: quantized, protected, reversible, a group. Nothing on the interval can be: its transport runs forward only, a semigroup, and each step is final. The circle remembers; the interval forgets. Read with the cohort's open-system chain, that sentence sorts all sixteen. A measurement is the interval writing what the circle carried; gauge invariance is the circle's unreadability and renormalization is motion along the interval; time's tick is the circle's and its direction the interval's; the black hole's information was never lost, only billed to the wrong book. Nothing is newly derived here: every result is proved in a cohort paper and carried at its parent's declared grade, with conditional and flagged claims marked in place. The paper closes with the named measurements on which six of the sixteen treatments die outright, and with how the other ten are exposed through the ledger they share.
