The Geometric Inevitability of Cosmos, Life, and Mind

The Self-Referential Closure of the GG-Theory Program

Abstract

Why are we here? For four centuries science has described how the world works but left why we exist to philosophy. Life and consciousness have been treated as a lucky accident in an indifferent cosmos. This paper — the keystone of the GG-Theory program — argues that the accident never happened. A unique six-dimensional geometry, internally consistent and with no free continuous parameters, fixes every particle's mass, every force's strength, the cosmic inventory, and the energy quantum of every living cell. The same geometry runs a cascade engine: at each layer an information current in the deep geometry projects onto our four-dimensional world, rolls down to the deepest valley of its energy landscape, and locks at the unique valley admissible to four consistency filters. Out-of-equilibrium shocks lift the cascade from one layer to the next, ending with intelligent observers who articulate the geometry that produced them. The rungs are ordinary objects: the periodic table, the twenty amino acids, ATP as the universal energy currency, the four-letter genetic code, the first cell, the first nervous system, the conscious episode. Cosmos, life, and mind are thus not three accidents but three boundary readings of one recursive theorem on the same bulk — a self-referential closure in which the observers who articulate the geometry are the cascade's terminal output. We are here because the geometry requires it — given one constitution, which the framework posits rather than proves. The particle and cosmic floors are derived in the companion papers GG-A9-SM and GG-A10-Cosmos; the present paper states the one mechanism, proves the recursive-uniqueness theorem that binds the five floors, and lays out the ten falsifiers that can confirm or kill the program this decade.
